Collingwood draftee Ollie Henry is set to make his AFL debut in the Magpies’ round one clash against the Bulldogs on Friday night.
The 18-year-old was given the news by the Pies senior coach, Nathan Buckley on Tuesday afternoon in front of the playing squad and football staff.

“Obviously something you’ve dreamed of but you’ve got your opportunity,” Buckley said.
“We’re backing you because we think you can make us better… we just want you to play with enjoyment, bring your strengths to the table and let the rest work itself out."
The medium-sized forward was selected by the Pies with pick 17 from the Geelong Falcons at the 2020 NAB AFL Draft.
Henry has impressed coaching staff with a solid pre-season and showed some exciting signs during both the Pies scratch-match against Geelong and the Community Series match against Richmond.
With strong hands and elite aerial ability, Henry provides another key marking option up forward.
