Collingwood is pleased to announce AVID Property Group (AVID) has recommitted their partnership for another term with the club’s AFLW side.
AVID is the side’s official coaches’ partner for the 2021 season. The teal logo will feature on Collingwood’s AFLW coaches’ apparel.
AVID is one of Australia’s most respected property developers and is responsible for seven residential communities across Victoria. The diversified group holds a portfolio spanning Australia’s eastern coastline of residential, industrial and commercial projects.
AVID Property Group General Manager Victoria Peter Vlitas, said the national property developer is delighted to announce their role as the official 2021 Collingwood AFLW coaches’ partner.
“We are pleased to continue our relationship with the Collingwood Football Club’s Women’s team for another year,” Mr Vlitas said.
“Our sponsorship program is all about supporting local clubs and groups that bring people together, this is especially important after the isolation experienced by many members of our community in recent months due to COVID-19.
“Our ongoing partnership with Collingwood AFLW provides a unique opportunity to share the combined values of AVID and Collingwood Football Club with a broader audience.
“The AFLW players are fantastic role models, especially for young Australians, demonstrating persistence, resilience and teamwork throughout the challenges faced by the team in 2020.”
Last year, the partnership saw Collingwood athletes connect online with AVID Victorian residents during lockdown. The athletes created online home workouts and set challenges for the residents to achieve whilst isolating.
“This year, we are very excited to welcome the team into our Victorian neighbourhoods to meet and inspire our residents in person at COVID-safe events,” Mr Vlitas said.
“The entire AVID team are proud to be associated with a club that brings such energy and passion to everything they do; we are looking forward to seeing where the 2021 season takes us – go the Pies!”
The partnership between Collingwood and AVID will continue see out community activations for locals and residents in and around AVID’s residential communities.
The AVID will also be part of Collingwood’s key branding and match-day fan engagement opportunities.
