Collingwood will blood its sixth debutant of the season, with Max Lynch receiving the call-up for round 15 against Brisbane on Friday night.
The 200cm ruckman has been knocking on the selection door for many months with strong performances in the reserves, senior coach Nathan Buckley made the announcement on Thursday morning.
“You’ve earned this opportunity, mate. You’re more than ready for it,” Buckley said.
“It’s a big game for us and we know you’re going to come in and give us your strengths and attributes and your energy.”

The 21-year-old was recruited from the Murray Bushrangers with pick No. 51 in the 2016 rookie draft and he couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity.
“I’m super stoked. A lot of work has gone into getting to this point and I can’t wait to get out there with the boys,” Lynch said on Thursday.
Midfielder Levi Greenwood returns to the Magpies' line-up after being managed through round 14.
Chris Mayne will miss the clash after the nasty concussion and facial fractures sustained against Carlton, while Darcy Cameron has been omitted from the side.
