Pendles flies high
Watch as Scott takes to the Melbourne skies as a passenger of an RAAF Roulette aircraft
Collingwood vice-captain and 2011 Copeland Trophy winner Scott Pendlebury has flown high throughout his decorated six-season career, but perhaps never as high as he did on Monday.
The 23-year-old took to the Melbourne skies as a passenger of an RAAF Roulette aircraft as part of a promotion for the upcoming Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island.
Pendlebury’s girlfriend, Alex Davis, is an ambassador for the MotoGP event, but unfortunately couldn’t carry out passenger duties as she’s not heavy enough, so it was left to Scott to defy the extreme G-forces and be part of the some scintillating mid-air moves.
Collingwood fans will be happy to know that the pilot returned Pendlebury safely to solid ground after what the star midfielder described as an “exhilarating” experience.
