Family Day at Victoria Park
Collingwood will hold its 2012 Family Day at Victoria Park this Sunday.
It will be the Magpies first Family Day to be staged at the club’s spiritual home since 2004, and is guaranteed to be bigger and better than ever before.
Entry is free, and the day will begin at 10.30am. It will include all the usual favourite activities including opportunities for fans to meet their Collingwood heroes.
Player autographs and photos will be available, with the 2012 Collingwood team presented on stage at approximately 12pm.
There will be plenty of fun kids’ activities, including footy clinics and face painting, with official merchandise and club memberships on sale throughout the day.
Family Day is always a great way to welcome in the new season, and all Collingwood supporters are encouraged to be a part of it.
We encourage fans to catch public transport to the event as parking is limited.
Please note that Victoria Park Railway Station will be unavailable due to improvement works between Clifton Hill and Parliament Railway Stations.
Buses will replace trains between Clifton Hill and Parliament and will arrive and depart from Victoria Park Station at the regular bus stop at the Hoddle St and Johnston St intersection.
The Epping and Hurstbridge Lines will be affected. More information can be found on the Metlink website here.
Victoria Park Station is located in zone one of the Metcard ticket zone, and is only 200m from the ground. The station can be accessed via the Hurstbridge and Epping Lines.
For more information see Melway ref: 2C, J7.
All day parking is available ($3) adjacent to Victoria Park Railway Station.
