In his column in Melbourne’s The Age newspaper last week, the 1990 premiership captain named Darren Millane, Peter McKenna, Len Thompson, Peter Daicos and current captain Nathan Buckley, as the five best Magpies he has witnessed play.

He went one step further in nominating Buckley as the best of the best, the finest to pull on the Collingwood guernsey, in his time watching the Pies.
