Collingwood skipper Nick Maxwell is supporting “Finnan’s Gift” by auctioning several pieces of memorabilia from his 150th game in the win over the Hawks last Sunday.
Maxwell is auctioning off his match-worn boots, guernsey and match ball with all items signed.
All proceeds are going towards 'Finnan's Gift', an appeal set up for The Royal Children’s Hospital Cardiology Department.
Collingwood’s board member Alisa Camplin and her husband Oliver established “Finnan’s Gift” earlier this year. The couple lost their boy Finnan, after he bravely fought heart problems for his entire short life of 10 days.
With your help “Finnan’s Gift” is aiming to raise $300,00 for a echocardiology scanning machine for the The Royal Children’s Hospital Cardiology Department. The Director of Cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital has identified this machine as crucial to improving the diagnosis and treatment of Congenital Heart Disease.
