Swan, Reid injured in win
It appears Dane Swan and Ben Reid have both sustained injuries from Friday night
Swan left the ground in the fourth quarter after stretching himself to get to the ball. He fell and immediately clutched his right hamstring before coming from the ground, and played no further part.
Reid came from the ground soon after.
It was unclear immediately after the game what the extent of Swan's injury was.
"We'll find out a little bit more through the week but 'Reidy' has nicked his quaddy again, and 'Swanny' has got a minor hamstring strain so we'll know a little more about that in the next 48 hours," Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley said after the match.
Buckley admitted the injuries were prominent in his mind as the siren rang to confirm the win.
"By the time you get to the final siren and you've got the points, it's not really relief it's a little bit of disappointment with the collateral damage," he said.
"But we understand that that is what happens with every game of footy really. You need to lick your wounds and see where the dust settles.
Reid has battled repeated quad injuries, enduring several setbacks in the past eight months.
The Magpies had already utilised their substitute, with Alan Didak coming off for Simon Buckley in the third quarter.
They appeared to have another injury concern at three-quarter-time when Scott Pendlebury strapped ice to his calf.
But the Norm Smith medallist returned to gather 12 possessions in the final quarter and kick the final goal of the game.
