Davis weighing up future
Magpie Leon Davis says he is yet to decide whether he will retire at the end of the season
COLLINGWOOD defender Leon Davis has declared he is no certainty to play next season, despite being in All-Australian form this year.
Davis, who has benefited from shifting from the forward line to half-back, told 3AW he was still mulling over his future.

"Not necessarily [will I play on next season]. It's something I'll sit down and have a think about at the end of the year, but definitely enjoying my footy at the moment," Davis said.
Davis' pinpoint kicking skills have been a key factor in Collingwood's impressive season that sees it perched on top of the AFL ladder.
"I pride myself on my execution, so whenever I make mistakes I'm probably the hardest bloke on myself," Davis said.
"[I work hard on my kicking] so hopefully I can improve."
It was a different story last year when Davis was dropped for the Grand Final replay against St Kilda.
"It cut pretty deep, but I couldn't sit back and show my disappointment because it's a team game," Davis said.
"I got over it pretty quickly, and I just thought of the team and wanted to be upbeat and lift the boys up a bit."
While the 30-year-old is in career best form, he revealed the pull of family in Perth was a major factor in determining his future at Collingwood.
"I've got nieces and nephews getting older back home," Davis said.
"And of course I miss my family as well, but I suppose I'll have to have a think about it, and weigh it up and think about it in a serious context."
Davis is proud of his indigenous heritage, and has played a major role in mentoring boom Collingwood recruit Andrew Krakouer.
Krakouer has been a solid contributor for Collingwood this season after serving 32 months in prison for assault.
Davis said he and Krakouer shared a special bond.
"He's come back from obviously being in jail which was a pretty bad time in his life," he said.
"He's been a great mate of mine for a good 10 years-plus, so I kept in contact with him and tried to be there for him.
"For him to playing footy, alongside myself, is something I cherish each week and I try to push him to work hard."
