Richmond, 19, was recently signed to the Magpies' rookie list after spending recent years playing basketball at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

The 195cm key position player is originally from Tasmania but has now settled at the Westpac Centre where he admits he has had to quickly do away with his love for arch enemy Carlton.
