Collingwood midfielder Dale Thomas took a trademark speccy in the goalsquare late in the first quarter against North Melbourne on Sunday at the MCG.
Taking off early, Thomas enjoyed a ride on Levi Greenwood's back and then hovered to latch onto a strong chest mark as North defender Scott Thompson charged in from the front.
His leap has been selected as one of three mark of the year nominations.
Essendon's Heath Hocking and Sydney's Sam Reid are also featured in this week's nominations.
