Rocca, 32, has played just three games this season and hasn't been in the senior side since the round seven loss to St Kilda. He has battled achilles and ankle injuries over the past couple of years.
If he makes tonight's final cut, he will be the most experienced Collingwood player on Sunday, with 219 matches, one more than Shane O'Bree.
There will be plenty of interest in the final squads of the Pies and Saints, with question marks remaining over whether former St Kilda captain Luke Ball and veteran defender Max Hudghton can regain their places.
The teams will be announced later this afternoon on Collingwoodfc.com.au.
