Collingwood forward Travis Cloke has accepted the match review panel's offer of a one-match suspension for striking Carlton’s Michael Jamison during Sunday’s round 12 match at the MCG.

Cloke, who last week accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record for misconduct in that he made contact with his head to the face of Melbourne’s Matthew Warnock in round 11, will miss the upcoming clash with the Western Bulldogs at Telstra Dome after taking an early plea.

The incident, which occurred during the first quarter of the Magpies' 30-point loss to the Blues, was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points).

This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction.

Cloke had 93.75 demerit points carried over from within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty to 218.75 points and a two-match sanction.

An early plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to 164.06 points and a one-match sanction.

Cloke, who won last year’s Copeland Trophy at just 20 years of age, has played all 12 matches so far in season 2008, and booted 19 goals, for career totals of 67 games and 74 goals.
