Collingwood has made one change for Friday night’s match against Richmond selecting Cameron Wood to replace an injured Darren Jolly.
Wood has put in two dominant VFL performances in the ruck including posting 38 hitouts in last week’s loss and 31 hitouts in round one. The 24-year-old earns the call up with Jolly missing his first match in 142 games due to knee soreness.
The match committee has selected three fresh faces to make up the emergencies naming John McCarthy, Tyson Goldsack and Brad Dick. Dick (four goals) and McCarthy (25 disposals) featured in the best for the VFL while Goldsack is returning to form since recovering from an illness suffered over the off season.
Richmond, meanwhile, has made two changes with former Demon Brad Miller (134 games/ 89 goals) and defender Will Thursfield (67 games) coming into the side for Daniel Connors (27 games/ 7 goals) and Mitch Morton - leg (65 games/ 102 games).
