Season 2014 marks the end of the road for one of Collingwood’s favourite sons.
He’s never kicked a goal, nor done anything to bring the fans to their feet.
He hasn’t even won a kick in anger.
But Col Arnell has been one of the Collingwood Football Club’s greatest contributors for more than 30 years.
Col, the club’s Assistant Head Trainer, has delivered 33 years of service to Collingwood.
He is a veteran of two premierships, seven Grand Finals, 41 finals matches and more than 1,000 training sessions.
Col is finishing up with Collingwood at the end of the season, and on tonight’s episode of The Club, we profile a man who has seen well over 300 players come and go, from Mark Williams through to Tom Langdon.
The Club was also feature some of the highlights of the Collingwood Forever celebration that will be held concurrently at the Crown Palladium that evening.
Don’t miss The Club on Fox Footy (channel 504) at 9.30pm (AEST) every Wednesday.
