The first episode of a new fly-on-the-wall short documentary series, produced by Collingwood's digital team, will premiere on Sunday evening.

The new series, called Behind The Pies, will follow the AFL team through its coronavirus-interrupted 2020 campaign, with a new episode to be released each week.

Among the highlights will be vision and audio from team meetings, along with previously unseen vision from inside the rooms before and after each match.

The first episode looks at the build-up to Collingwood's round one match with the Western Bulldogs, during which the full impact of the coronavirus was laid bare.

It then features vision from before, during and after the match, which the Pies won by 52 points.
