Collingwood star Adam Treloar doesn’t regret the pre-season comments he made about the Magpies having a "better list" than Richmond.
The high-profile recruit copped plenty for his interview in November last year, while a cheeky on-field exchange with Tigers skipper Trent Cotchin when the teams met in round two added to the rivalry.
It all adds to the intrigue of Friday night's clash between the Pies and Richmond.
"I'm an honest person, I think people can notice that. I don't bullcrap, I don't try to lie about anything so whatever I think of something, I'll say," Treloar told AFL Media.
"It's an eye opener when you come back to Melbourne and realise how big the footy bubble is.
"I wouldn't change a thing. I don't think I said anything untoward about Richmond at all.
"It's going to be a good game this week and we look forward to it, and once that's over with we won't have to worry about the Adam Treloar Collingwood/Richmond saga."

Treloar said he expected the Tigers to come out firing after a week of scrutiny following their 88-point loss to Greater Western Sydney in Canberra last weekend.
Although neither side can make the finals, the Magpies sit a game above the Tigers on the ladder so bragging rights are well and truly in play.
"This week's a big game. They're going to come out with all guns blazing on Friday night with the scrutiny they're under," Treloar said.
"They’ll want to beat us under the lights at the MCG on Friday so we look forward to that challenge."
Treloar, who was traded from the Giants for the Magpies' 2016 and 2017 first-round draft picks, has averaged a career-high 30 disposals in 2016 and has been one of his side's best-performed players despite the team's struggles.
The 23-year-old is likely to finish in the top-five of the club's best and fairest award, even after a limited pre-season following off-season groin surgery.
"It wasn't ideal for me moving and wanting to make an impression straight away at my new club," Treloar said.
"I'll be trying to back it up in 2017 and have a really strong pre-season and keep learning off the likes of Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom as well as jelling with other mids."
On Wednesday, Treloar was on hand alongside fellow players Jordan Lewis, Josh Gibson, James Sicily and Travis Cloke, as well as women's players Daisy Pearce and Ashleigh Guest, to help celebrate the Fight Cancer Foundation’s Footy Colours Day at Malvern Central School.
"Anything I can do to put smiles on kids faces, I'm happy to be a part of," Treloar said.
