Collingwood has named another debutant and a returning premiership star among five inclusions for Saturday night’s clash with Brisbane at the MCG.

19-year-old New South Welshman Tom Young will become the fifth Collingwood player to make his AFL debut in 2011, following Alex Fasolo (round 12), Luke Rounds (round 15), Lachlan Keeffe (round 16) and Ben Sinclair (round 19).

2010 flag hero and reliable defender Alan Toovey also comes into the side after missing four weeks with a finger injury, with Simon Buckley, Keeffe and Sinclair rounding out the inclusions.

Keeffe, a 204-centimere key position player from Queensland, appeared in four senior matches from rounds 16-19, while quick midfielder Sinclair impressed when he came on as a substitute in his only AFL game.

Captain Nick Maxwell is set to miss around four weeks after undergoing surgery on a fractured thumb sustained in last Friday night’s win over St Kilda, while midfielder Sharrod Wellingham is out with a groin injury and defender Ben Johnson will miss with soreness. Youngster Luke Rounds has been omitted.

Leon Davis, who was originally named in the 22 on Thursday, has been ruled out of the match with leg soreness.  Simon Buckley returns to the side after missing last week to replace Davis.

The emergencies are Rounds, Cameron Wood and John McCarthy.  McCarthy was named as an emergency on Friday after Davis was ruled out.

Debutant Young is a 191-centimetre utility who is a success story of the New South Wales scholarship program.

He comes from Bowral, about an hour and a half south of Sydney, and played his junior football for the Wollondilly Football Club and Sydney University.

Chris Dawes will spend another week on the sidelines as he recovers from a knuckle injury, and won't play at any level. The key forward last played in round 15. Heath Shaw’s league-imposed eight-week suspension continues.

Meanwhile Brisbane has just made one change with Daniel Rich (59 games/ 32 goals) returning to the side for James Hawksley (27/ 3).

Collingwood and Brisbane are yet to meet in season 2011. The Magpies sit first on the ladder with 18 wins, one loss and a percentage of 182.79, while the Lions are 15th and coming off their fourth win of the season - a 62-point triumph over Gold Coast.
