Few Collingwood players would have walked away from Domain Stadium happy with a 62-point loss at the hands of the West Coast Eagles.

Nathan Buckley and the coaching staff shared the sentiment.

“The game goes for four quarters so you can’t play two and expect to get the result,” Buckley said in his post-match press conference.

“The good was good and the bad was bad. There wasn’t much in between.”

One performance to put in the ‘good’ category was that of Adam Treloar.

The midfielder finished with 32 disposals and 10 tackles in a game which saw him awarded three votes in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year award.

The performance marked the fourth game this season Treloar has been viewed by the respective coaches as one of the best players on the field.

His season tally of eight votes trails Magpie teammates Alex Fasolo (12 votes), Steele Sidebottom (11) and Scott Pendlebury (nine).
