He's only 25, but Steele Sidebottom is already on the cusp of his 150th senior game.
If selected this week, the vice-captain will become just the 89th man to play 150 or more games in a Collingwood jumper.
It's hard to believe how quickly time has passed.
Sidebottom was the youngest member of Collingwood's 2010 premiership team, aged just 19 years and 274 days on 2 October 2010.
PROFILE: The story of Steele Sidebottom.
That match was just his 36th, but he is now ranked among the club's most experienced players (only three of Saturday's team had played more games than Sidebottom).
The youngest of five brothers, Sidebottom has long been one of the fittest players at the club, and his engine, coupled with his goal sense, has made him a versatile option for his coaches. His disposal on both sides of his body is a feature of his game, as is his tenacious tackling.
His reputation as a finals specialist, fueled by a best afield display in the 2008 TAC Cup U18 Grand Final, was sealed in 2010 when he was one of Collingwood's best in both the drawn Grand Final and the Replay.
B&W SHOW: Steele takes over in 2013.
Sidebottom's rapid rise to game No. 150 begs the question: Could he become the third man to play 300 games for Collingwood?
At 25 and with five years remaining on his contract, Sidebottom has time on his side.
If he does so, he will join Tony Shaw (313 games) and Gordon Coventry (306 games) as the only Magpies to reach the magical milestone.
