Champion midfielder Dane Swan has told Triple M he is keen to play on in 2017, should his foot fully recover from surgery.
Swan, 32, told Eddie McGuire's Hot Breakfast he had recently met with coach Nathan Buckley to discuss his future.
"I’m not going to play on if I don’t think I can contribute at the level that I want to and I know I can," Swan told the Triple M.
"It really all comes down to my foot. If my foot is OK and I think I can play at a high level, I certainly will try and play on."
