The Collingwood FC Twitter account is getting a little taste of Dane Swan magic on Friday night when the Brownlow Medallist and three-time Copeland Trophy winner takes over the most followed account in the AFL.
While injury has kept Swan off the field this year, his social media form has been as crispy as ever.
The tattooed midfielder is one of the most followed Tweeters in Australian sport.
He has 131,000 followers – more than the official accounts of any of the 18 clubs in the AFL.
While football isn’t always the topic of his Tweets, recent pearls of wisdom have included the following line regarding an up-and-coming teammate by the name of Scott Pendlebury.
That @SP_10 is gonna be a good player one day.. Mark my words

On Friday night, @swandane will go quiet, and @collingwoodFC will be the home of Swan’s innermost thoughts.
Be sure to keep an eye on your Twitter feed when the Magpies take on the in-form Fremantle Dockers at the MCG.
The insight will be riveting and the entertainment will be first-class.
And if you don’t know what you’re in for, here is just a sample of what Swanny has to offer…
Sporting team themed toilet paper so you can wipe your ass with the team you hate... Your welcome
