Hang in there, Pies fans!
There’s only three weeks remaining until Collingwood’s first NAB Challenge game.
But if you can’t wait that long (and we don’t blame you), fear not. Fox Footy has just what you need.
Black and White TV is back in vogue this Sunday, as Fox dedicates Channel 504 to Collingwood.
It’s time to clear the calendar and book your spot on the couch. This is how you should spend your Sunday.
12.30am
Collingwood v St Kilda
2010 Grand Final
With apologies to the Divinyls…
“It's a fine line between pleasure and pain.
You've done it once you can do it again.”
Can your heart take it again? Chances are you’ve probably only seen this game once, but if you’re up late on Saturday night, and you’re looking for the thriller of all thrillers, this is for you.
All credit to you if you can watch the Stephen Milne-Ben Johnson bounce without covering your eyes.
Collingwood 9.14 (68) drew with St Kilda 10.8 (68)

Collingwood v St Kilda
2010 Grand Final Replay
Ahh, sweet relief!
This is your reward for staying up for the duration of the drawn Grand Final.
It’s a game where no panic sets in. Six goals to one at half time becomes eleven to four in the space of just half an hour.
It’s time to enjoy the Party Pies of 2010 in their finest hour.
Collingwood 16.12 (108) def. St Kilda 7.10 (52)

Collingwood v Hawthorn
2011 Preliminary Final
“The stakes so high… Ball, THROWS IT ON THE BOOT! And like Swan before him, he’s kicked a magnificent goal out of that pocket!”
Dennis Cometti captures Luke Ball’s crowning glory. Don’t miss another chance to soak it all in.
Collingwood 10.8 (68) def. Hawthorn 9.11 (65)

7.00am
Collingwood v West Coast
Round 13 2012
This one’s a little left field. Need to jog the memory?
It included:
- Five goals from Travis Cloke
- Three goals and 34 disposals from Dayne Beams during his Copeland Trophy season
- 38 disposals from Dane Swan
- A three-point thriller in a twilight fixture at the MCG
Collingwood 12.13 (85) def. West Coast 12.10 (82)
9.30am
Collingwood v Essendon
Round 6 2014
Dane Swan’s had more prolific days on a football ground.
But he has rarely had as much impact on a single game as he had on ANZAC Day, 2014.
Down thirty-seven points early in the second quarter, Collingwood put the foot on the pedal and steamrolled Essendon, kicking twelve of the last fifteen goals of the game to win by twenty-three points.
The reason? Mr. D. Swan, his four goals and twenty-six disposals.

Collingwood v Essendon
Round 4 1995
The game that kick-started an ANZAC Day tradition. It’s one that had it all, from Sav Rocca’s nine goals, to Nathan Buckley’s thirty disposals, to the 111-apiece finish.
Collingwood 17.9 (111) drew with Essendon 16.15 (111)
1.50pm
Collingwood v Essendon
Round 5 2012
Three ANZAC Day classics in a row.
Don’t let anyone tell you that this isn’t the biggest game of the home and away season!
This one was a genuine heart-stopper. The Magpies, still clearing the rust after a slow start to the season, led for much of the day, but appeared destined to be overrun by the fast-finishing Dons.
Enter Jarryd Blair.
The rover found best position at the foot of a pack after Ben Sinclair kicked long to the top of the goal square. Blair kept his feet and threw a leg at the ball, tapping the Sherrin through to give Collingwood a one-point lead with barely a minute left to play.
Note: You’ll also witness Dane Swan at his best. He had forty-two disposals and kicked three goals.
Collingwood 11.14 (80) def. Essendon 11.13 (79)
BLAIRY! BLAIRY! BLAIRY! Jarryd Blair puts us in front with a soccer from the square. 1.20 to go. Pies up 80-79 #gopies

Collingwood v North Melbourne
Round 9 2015
You’ll remember this one fondly.
It’s less than twelve months ago, so chances are this come-from-behind win over the Kangaroos is still fresh in your mind.
If you need a refresher, here are the key points:
- We trailed by 39-points at half time
- We’d conceded ten goals in the first half
- It was pouring with rain, yet we still kicked nine goals in the third quarter
- Both teams kicked four goals apiece in the final term but the Magpies still ran out 17-point victors

West Coast v Collingwood
Semi-Final 2007
Collingwood and drawn finals seem to go hand-in-hand.
And we’re not just talking about the 2010 decider.
Three years earlier, the Magpies took on an undermanned West Coast outfit at Subiaco Oval. The game went right to the wire, with scores locked at 72-apiece.
Extra-time was called in, and Collingwood made the most of it, kicking three goals to nil to run out 19-point victors.
