Collingwood youngster Callum Brown says the players are excited about what 2020 might bring as they prepare to ramp up their pre-season training load over the coming month.
Brown was among the first- to fourth-year players who were required back at the club this week.
They were joined by a few of the older players, including Jordan Roughead and Tom Phillips, as they were put through some solid sessions at the Holden Centre.
“It still haunts you a little bit, last year and obviously the year before,” Brown said on Friday’s episode of Track Talk.
“We’ve been so close but so far at the same time.
“So we’d love to get (to the finals) again, and that’s what we’re aiming for.”
