Scott Pendlebury met Luke Hodge in the MCG carpark after the game on Saturday night. True story.
As the Magpies’ captain left the Collingwood rooms, Hawthorn’s former skipper did the same from the away teams designated area.
Two hours earlier the two were trading jumper punches in a heated exchange late in the Magpies’ 18-point victory over Hawthorn.
“You know Hodgey isn’t going to take a backwards step,” Pendlebury said on Collingwood Media podcast ‘Jock and Journo’.
