The Holden Centre has two new parents in its midst.

Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury and his wife, Alex, have welcomed son, Jax Michael Pendlebury, into the world.

Jax was born on Monday 15 May, two days after Pendlebury led the Magpies into action against Greater Western Sydney.

This happened Monday night! First cuddle with our little man Jax straight after he entered the world. We are both healthy and happy Thanks all for the well wishes, have been MIA on the phone enjoying our new life as a mum & dad (aka not having time to do anything else ) xx @sp_10

Pendlebury was determined to leave the match midway through to fly back to Melbourne should Alex have gone into labour during the day.

The club wishes Alex, Scott and Jax health and happiness for the years to come.
