The Pies' clash with Richmond on Sunday yielded a host of interesting facts and figures ...
* A crowd of 72,157 watched Collingwood put up a great fight before falling short. The attendance meant that a total of 163,597 watched the Magpies play in the space of five days.
* Scott Pendlebury is now tied with former Pies star Dane Swan on 258 career games. Swan (156) enjoyed three more victories than Pendles (153) in his 258 matches. Both have played in two draws.

* Flynn Appleby became Collingwood's third debutant this season after Sam Murray and Jaidyn Stephenson debuted in round one. Both Murray and Stephenson have already won Rising Star nominations. Pressure's on, Flynn!
* Collingwood topped 200 handballs for the third match in a row. The Pies had 217 handballs against Adelaide in round four, 201 against Essendon on ANZAC Day and 223 against the Tigers. It's an interesting contrast to the final two rounds of last season when Collingwood recorded 153 handballs against Geelong in round 22 and 154 against Melbourne in round 23. It's also a contrast to round one of this season when the Pies had 158 handballs in their loss to Hawthorn.
* Finally, check out this nugget of gold from one of our favourite Channel 7 stats men:
