Brayden Sier won’t play in the VFL Pies’ clash with Essendon at Windy Hill on Saturday after being sidelined by a foot injury.
The issue also caused the midfielder to miss last weekend’s narrow loss to the Northern Blues.
“Bit of a strain in one of the tendons in his toes,” football boss Geoff Walsh explained on Injury Update.
“It’s a one- to two-week injury … we’ll just see how he responds to the rehab and his treatment.”
Defender Flynn Appleby will also miss the clash with the Bombers.
“(He) went over on his ankle in the game in the VFL last week,” Walsh said.
“It’s a one- to two-weeker.”
