The big forward has missed the past two matches due to the ankle injury he suffered late in the Anzac Day win over Essendon. Will be given the chance to prove himself on the training track this week as he eyes a return to face St Kilda at the MCG on Saturday.
Dayne Beams
Missed the win over Carlton due to hip soreness. Like Cox, will be given the chance to prove his fitness on the track this week.
Brayden Sier
Returned from injury with an impressive performance in the VFL Pies' loss to Sandringham at Victoria Park on Sunday. Finished the game with 21 disposals, three tackles and a goal.
James Aish
Has missed the past three games after being concussed in the round five win over the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba. Will get the chance to prove himself on the track this week.
Travis Varcoe
Was omitted from the AFL team for the round seven clash with Port Adelaide and was then named as an emergency for the AFL side's match against Carlton on Saturday. Ended up playing in the VFL Pies' narrow loss to Sandringham at Victoria Park and was among the team's best players, finishing with 13 disposals and two goals.
Isaac Quaynor
Like Varcoe, was named among the emergencies for the AFL game against Carlton and was then among the VFL Pies' best players in the one-point loss to Sandringham. Finished with 25 disposals and five tackles.
