The President, Board, staff and members of the Collingwood Football Club would like to express their sadness at the passing of former player Harvey Stevens.

Born in 1930, Stevens played 54 games for Collingwood between 1948 and 1952. Recruited from Reservoir, he was a member of the club's Grand Final loss to Geelong in 1952.

He finished his career at Footscray, where he was the ruckman in their first premeirship in 1954.

The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Stevens family.
