Collingwood’s VFLW team is sitting pretty on top of the ladder with a 7-1 win-loss record after defeating Essendon by 20 points at Windy Hill on Saturday afternoon.

Jaimee Lambert was the star for the Magpies, booting three goals in a best on ground performance.

The Pies set up their win by kicking three unanswered goals in the second quarter.

Twenty points up at the long break, they went on and won by that margin.
