Collingwood will host either the Brisbane Lions or Greater Western Sydney in a preliminary final at the MCG on Saturday, September 21.
The start time is yet to be decided. It will be confirmed after next weekend's clash between the Lions and the Giants at the Gabba.

Richmond, which defeated the Lions in a qualifying final at the Gabba on Saturday night, will host either Geelong or West Coast in the other preliminary final on the Friday night at the MCG.
The Magpies' game will come a day later due to the AFL wanting to ensure that the Lions or Giants go into the match off the back of a seven-day break.
