On March 31, Collingwood forward Kayle Kirby collapsed during a VFL practice match at the Holden Centre.
It has since been established that Kayle has an underlying heart condition.
As such, Kayle will be monitored by club medical staff and his cardiologist over the next three months during which time his response to a light training program will also be tracked.
Kayle is unlikely to return to playing during this three month period.
A further update will be provided at the conclusion of this time.

An ambulance is on the ground for Kayle Kirby. The details surrounding his condition are still unclear. Let's hope it's not as bad as it looks #vflmagpies
