Collingwood has informed Charlotte Blair, Lauren Brazzale, Erica Fowler, and Sarah Sansonetti they will not be offered contracts with the Club for 2025.

Blair was selected at pick 56 in the 2022 AFLW National Draft and made her debut in Round 10 the following year. The midfielder managed only four games in 2024 due to a bone stress injury.

Brazzale and Sansonetti joined the Club ahead of the 2022 AFLW Season (Season Seven).

After five years at Carlton, Brazzale made her Collingwood debut in Round One with a 20-point win against her former side. The inaugural AFLW player played 32 games in the black and white and has tallied a total of 73 AFLW games.

Sansonetti, who joined the Pies from Richmond, also made her Club debut in Round One in Season Seven of the AFLW. The forward played four games this year.

Former Collingwood VFLW player Erica Fowler was promoted to the AFLW list in October 2018 and made her AFLW debut in Round One the following year. The 32-year-old went on to play 46 games in the black and white.

“Making these decisions during this period is never an easy task and we thank each of the players for their efforts during our journey,” General Manager of Women’s Football Jess Burger said.

“Although her season was cut short, we commend Charlotte for her sportsmanship and resilience throughout the season. Her fight in her recovery is admirable and she has made great impact during her time with the program.

“Lauren has been an untitled leader within our four walls, always being a teammate and friend that the playing group can rely on. We highly respect her contributions not only to our playing group, but also on the Club and AFLW league.

“We thank Erica for her dedication to both our AFLW and VFLW programs. Her willingness to strive to continuously better herself and the team has been a trademark of her time at the Pies.

"We also thank Sarah for her service to the Club, she has provided great versatility and has continued to refine her craft year on year.

“On behalf of everyone at the Club, we wish each player all the best in their future endeavours.”
