Collingwood midfielder Tarni White will return from suspension for the Pies' crucial Week 4B clash against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.

The 23-year-old returns from a three-match ban, with her inclusion in Sunday’s team set to provide a boost for the Pies in their fifth game of 2024.

The Pies will be without skipper Bri Davey who entered the AFL’s concussion protocols following Tuesday night’s match against the West Coast Eagles.

Davey will be sidelined for both this Sunday’s game against the Bulldogs and next Friday’s match against the Gold Coast SUNS given the mandated 12-day break she will observe.

The Pies will also miss fellow midfielder Mikala Cann who accepted a one-match ban for Rough Conduct during Tuesday’s clash with the Eagles.

Replacement player and VFLW star Sarah Ingram comes into the team and will make her AFLW debut in the game against the Bulldogs.

Ingram averaged 18 disposals and five tackles across 14 games for Collingwood’s VFLW team this season. The 23-year-old has played 31 VFLW games having previously played for Carlton.

Erica Fowler is the third addition to Sunday's team, coming in for Sarah Sansonetti.

The Pies, who are searching for their maiden win of the 2024 season, will take to Victoria Park for the second time this year on the weekend.

Providing strong pressure around the contest, Grace Campbell currently sits in second place for total tackles across the league and is averaging nine tackles per game. The 28-year-old will again be a crucial player on Sunday as she looks to continue her stellar year.

Campbell has also hit the scoreboard in three of the Pies’ four matches so far this year.

The Pies haven’t taken on the Western Bulldogs since the Season Seven Elimination Final, a game where Eliza James kicked four goals.

James provided a strong start for the Pies in Tuesday night’s match against the Eagles with a brilliant snap for her first goal of the season. The 20-year-old will again look to bring a spark in front of goal on Sunday.

The first bounce is scheduled for 3:05pm AEST on Sunday, with the game able to be streamed live on Seven and Kayo Sports.
