The date and time of Collingwood’s Round 24 fixture has been confirmed, with the Magpies to take on Melbourne on Friday August 23rd at 7:40pm at the MCG.
The clash will be the second time the two sides have come face to face in 2024, following the Magpies’ 38-point, King’s Birthday victory in Round 13.
Jack Crisp took home the Neale Daniher Trophy for best on ground in the clash which was the tenth annual ‘Big Freeze at the ‘G clash after accumulating 27 disposals, 11 contested possessions, 21 pressure acts, six clearances and four score involvements.
The clash was also headlined by two big marks by Magpies’ veterans Jeremy Howe, Steele Sidebottom and Will Hoskin-Elliott who wound back the clock to bring the MCG to it’s feet.
Nathan Kreuger made his return to AFL in style in the clash, booting his first AFL goals (3) in 788 days.

Tickets for Collingwood’s Round 24 clash will go on sale via Ticketek on Wednesday August 14. Club Members will be able to access tickets from 10am and the general public from 4pm.
