Collingwood will take two selections into tonight's Mid-Season Draft, with the Club holding picks 10 and 19.
Through defender Nathan Murphy's retirement and the long-term knee injury to ruckman Aiden Begg, a pair of list spots have opened up for the seventh-placed Pies.
The draft order is decided via the inverse of the AFL ladder as of the end of Round 11, however through Gold Coast and Fremantle either not holding a selection or choosing not to use theirs, the Pies' first has jumped into the top 10.
The draft can be watched on AFL.com.au from 7pm, with 23 selections set to be used.
The Pies have a good history with the mid-season draft period, having selected recent 100-gamer John Noble back in 2019, as well as Josh Carmichael, Ash Johnson, and Begg this decade.
