The Club’s VFL side will take on Richmond in their first official practice match of 2024 on Tuesday, heading to Punt Road for the matinee clash.

The match will consist of four 20-minute quarters and will be the first of two practice matches for the VFL squad – with a game against Port Melbourne scheduled for March 15.

10 AFL-listed stars will take the field, including SSP additions Lachie Sullivan and Jack Bytel, while Tew Jiath will take part in his first official full match in Collingwood colours.

VFL signings Ryan Sparkes, Ned Long and Jack Hutchinson – amongst a host of others – will also play their first games in the black and white.

The match will precede the AAMI Community Series match between the two Clubs’ AFL sides at Ikon Park, with the game across town kicking off at 6:40pm.

The game will kick off at 3pm with gates open to the public for free.
