Collingwood defender Matt Scharenberg will play his first game nearly a whole year, named as a late inclusion for James Aish on Saturday night.
Aish is battling hamstring soreness and has been withdrawn from the Pies' team.
The highly rated Scharenberg has been sidelined since round 19 last season, having torn his left ACL for the second time in an injury-plagued career. He has also torn his right ACL once.
Collingwood had already made one change for its clash with North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium, with Josh Daicos replacing injured defender Jeremy Howe (calf).
The Kangaroos are unchanged from their side named prior to the weekend, which saw Kyron Hayden named for his AFL debut in place of the suspended Taylor Garner.
