Collingwood forward Ash Johnson is set to spend some time on the sidelines with scans confirming a hairline fracture to his arm.

The 26-year-old sustained the injury during Saturday’s VFL Elimination Final match against Williamstown.

“Unfortunate news for Ash who will look to spend a few weeks out of the game,” Collingwood GM of Football Graham Wright said.

“Ash has played a key role across our AFL program, and more recently within our VFL side, so we are disappointed for this setback.”

The Club will provide an update on Ash’s availability in due course.
