Magpies’ fans have two exciting opportunities to show their support for the AFL side with two open training sessions on offer in the lead up to the First Qualifying Final next Thursday.
Thursday’s main training begins at 3.30pm, with the players taking the field from 4pm until 6pm, with a range of activities on offer including:
- Food trucks
- Coles Family BBQ - all proceeds will go towards Magpie Nest Program
- VRGF Badge Making
- KFC Stubbie Holder Giveaways
- Face painting
- Shop at the merchandise store
- The opportunity to write a good luck letter to players
Sunday’s event will start at the earlier time of 9am, with training beginning half an hour later at 9.30am and running until 11.30am. Sunday’s activities include:
- Face Painting
- Signed giveaways
- Shop at the merchandise store
- The opportunity to write a good luck letter to players
Due to strict training schedules in the preparation for Finals, there won't be the opportunity for player signing at each event, but fans will have the opportunity to win signed giveaways!
The Magpie Army is encouraged to get down to the AIA Vitality Centre to cheer on the team as they gear up for a massive September campaign which kicks off next Thursday night against Melbourne at the MCG.
