In fantastic news, Head of High Performance Jarrod Wade has confirmed that the team has pulled up really well from both AFL and VFL games over the weekend.
"It's a really good testament to the players at the moment and how much they're committing to training.", noted Wade.
There was one injury to come from the weekend's action. Young midfielder Finlay Macrae copped a knock to his thumb but managed to play out the game with some discomfort. Post game, he got a precautionary x-ray on his hand that confirmed a minor little crack in his thumb. Macrae is expected to see a specialist early this week and will have a minor procedure done to his hand. The Club is hopeful that he'll return to action before the season ends.
Will Hoskin-Elliott will be available for selection pending his ability to get through training on Wednesday. The 29-year-old cleared all his markers last weekend and he is expected to be named on the team sheet this weekend.
Finally, Charlie Dean is back from his de-load period and is in a really good spot to hit the ground running towards the end of the year. He'll keep progressing and working towards a full preseason leading into the 2024 season.
