Collingwood is pleased to announce today’s Round 19 game against Port Adelaide marks the 24th time our Club has cracked the one million attendance mark in a home-and-away season.

Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly thanked all Members and supporters for their attendance this season.

“On behalf of everyone at Collingwood, we thank the Magpie Army for continuing to show up and support our Club week in, week out, at home or away,” Kelly said.

“The dedication of our fans is unlike any other and it is that dedication which has seen our Club feature in six of the top 10 most-attended AFL matches this season.

“The Collingwood faithful is our Club’s 19th player, and it is thanks to the unwavering support of the black-and-white army that our average home attendance of 64,602 is the highest in the AFL competition.”

Prior to today’s clash, our overall attendance for the year was 996,320.

Our most attended match so far this year saw 95,179 fans go through the gates at the MCG for our ANZAC Day match against Essendon while the smallest crowd we’ve played in front of this season was against the Gold Coast SUNS with 22,483 fans attending, and we thank all Collingwood Members and supporters who travelled to Queensland for that game - making Carrara feel like home.
