Collingwood will officially launch its 2023 AFLW campaign with a blockbuster season-opener when it takes on reigning premiers Melbourne at Ikon Park on Friday, September 1.
This will mark the eighth occasion Collingwood will play in the season-opener since the inaugural AFLW match in 2017.
Across the 10-round home-and-away season, the Pies will host four games at the Club’s spiritual home of Victoria Park and will also host Essendon at the AIA Centre on AFL Grand Final Day on Saturday, September 30.
The side will travel interstate on two occasions throughout the home-and-away season, one to Sydney to face the Swans in Round Nine and another to Brisbane in Round Six.
Round Three will mark the first occasion in AFLW history Collingwood comes face to face with the Gold Coast Suns.
The Club will celebrate Indigenous Round when it hosts Geelong at Victoria Park in Round Eight before the annual Pride Round set to follow in Round 10 where the Pies will face Richmond.
Collingwood is set for six Sunday afternoon games with a total of eight games to be broadcasted live and free on Channel Seven.
The AFLW Finals series will feature a four-week structure with the 2023 NAB AFLW Grand Final set to be played on Sunday, December 3.
