Saturday's 16-point victory over Melbourne put a cap on Collingwood's 2017 home and away season.

The round 23 clash at the MCG was the end-point of one chapter of the Magpies' history, but also the start of another as first-year players Callum Brown, Josh Daicos and Kayle Kirby experienced their first victory in Black and White.

To mark the milestones, AFL photographer Michael Willson was given unique access into the inner sanctum of the Collingwood changerooms.
