Collingwood is supporting this year's McHappy Day by sending several young Magpies to McDonald's restaurants on Saturday.

The Magpies have supported the cause for several years and will continue the partnership by sending a group of future stars to local McDonald's this weekend.

McHappy Day has become one of Australia’s most important and high profile charity events, raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), whose programs support seriously ill children and their families throughout Australia.

This year is a very special year as the charity celebrates the 20th anniversary of McHappy Day and has an ambitious target to raise three million for RMHC.

The first Australian McHappy Day was held in 1991, with McDonald’s restaurants throughout Australia joining forces with the community to raise more than $375,000. Since that time, McHappy Day has raised in excess of $18.5 million

Head to your local McDonald's on Saturday or check out one of the venues in the designated areas (below) where the players will make an appearance.

If you can’t make it to McDonald’s on McHappy Day, donations can also be made via the website www.mchappyday.com.au.
