Four changes have been made to the starting 23. 

Jakob Ryan (Injured), Jack Ginnivan (AFL), Liam Purcell (Omitted), and Ben Silvagni (Injured) are the OUTS for Round Four.

Co-Captain Lachlan Tardrew returns from illness. Will Kelly returns from concussion protocols, while Reef McInnes will line-up at Full Forward after playing in Collingwood's AFL clash against Brisbane last Thursday..

Nathan Kreuger will return to competitive football after a long-stint on the sidelines recovering from his shoulder injury. 

AFL Head Coach Craig McRae confirmed the news at the West Adelaide Football Club this afternoon.

"I've been pushing Kreugs right to the line to see if we can get him to play. He is going to play VFL this week and get some solid minutes in," he said.

"Hopefully he gets through, then we'll make a judgement on (AFL selection) next week or whenever that is."

Collingwood is currently placed seventh on the VFL ladder, with two wins and one loss to open the season.  

It’s a similar story for Box Hill (fourth), who are 2-1 to start their 2023 campaign.  

The Pies will be looking to put a strong performance on the board, after a 67-point loss against an experienced Brisbane outfit on their home ground last Thursday.

There have been many positives for the Pies in 2023, with multiple players ‘playing above the level’ accordingly to AFL Coach Craig McRae.

Midfielder Finlay Macrae has been a standout across the opening three rounds, amassing 87 disposals across the first three rounds.

2023 draftee Jakob Ryan has also impressed. The dashing defender was a standout in Collingwood’s victories against Coburg and Port Melbourne, finishing with 25 and 27 disposals respectively.

Co-Captains Lachlan Tardrew and Campbell Hustwaite have shown their leadership on-field in 2023, playing a pivotal role mentoring younger teammate. Both have consistently been named amongst the best players in each match.

This weekend’s match will be broadcast live on Channel 7 as the feature of the round, with the first bounce at 12pm at Box Hill City Oval.
