The son of former Hawthorn best and fairest winner and premiership player Ben Allan, Ed was narrowly ineligible for father-son selection. The versatile utility averages a tick over 25 disposals per game and nearly six marks. Allan does the hard grunt work in the guts and stars as a winger on the outside. While he only managed six games in 2022 across WAFL Colts and state level due to injury, the numbers and performances he put in across those games were impressive.
