Clare joins Collingwood from the Melbourne Football Club where she has served as the Demons’ General Manager of Media and Communications since 2021.
An experienced manager who has spent a decade working in high performance sport, Clare began her career in the AFL industry with the Brisbane Lions in 2013 before joining Hawthorn in 2015.
Rising through the ranks, Clare went on to lead the Hawks’ communications and marketing team before joining Melbourne where – in addition to leading media and communications – she played a lead role in the Club’s facilities project, RAP Committee and the drought-breaking premiership.
Clare is a graduate of the AFL industry Next Gen – Female Executive Leadership program which she completed in 2019.
General Manager of Football Graham Wright welcomed Clare to the Club.
“On behalf of Collingwood, we welcome Clare Pettyfor to the Club,” Mr Wright said.
“Clare has been a long-time administrator in football where she has developed into a strong leader and someone we have identified as having the ideal skillset to make the transition to football operations.
“We look forward to Clare joining the Club.”
Clare Pettyfor begins at Collingwood in the week commencing November 21.
