Harry O'Brien takes Collingwood to the world
Harry O'Brien took Collingwood to the world when he was featured on a television news report in Rio De Janeiro.
O’Brien spoke fluent Portuguese throughout the interview as he took the game of Australian football to the streets of Brazil.
Armed with a Collingwood Sherrin, O’Brien mixed with the locals, kitting out youngsters in Collingwood apparel and teaching them how to play the Australian game.

During the interview, viewers were shown overlay of O’Brien’s goal in the final quarter of the 2010 Grand Final Replay. The TV network referred to him as a “defensor do Collingwood FC”.
